To protect privacy online Secure Swiss Data team is providing end-to-end encryption services to individuals and businesses.

Do I really need to encrypt my emails?2018-01-18T10:46:01+00:00

Nowadays we communicate via email on a daily basis. As a result, our emails contain a lot of private information. If this information will be stolen it can lead to identity theft or other unwanted consequences.

What is more, mainstream “free” email service providers, scan your emails and collect information about what you have bought, when and where, where you go for holidays, what events you go to etc., and sell your data to third parties that use it to send you Ads or display them to you online.

If you use encrypted email provider, like Secure Swiss Data:

  • It would be nearly to impossible for hackers to still your data and use it against you
  • No one but the intended recipient can read or scan your emails, even we can’t read your emails, and you won’t be targeted with any ads.

I’m not a tech person. Do I need to learn anything about encryption?2018-01-18T10:54:06+00:00

Can you access my data? Do you use server side cryptography to store my data encrypted?2018-01-18T10:57:15+00:00

No, we can’t access your data. The server hard disks don’t store data in plain format. All data is stored encrypted - we have ‘Zero-knowledge’ policy. We use cryptoloop (Linux kernel feature for creating encrypted devices) for data volume encryption.

Encryption all the way ensures that even in the case of a data breach the messages are secure and nobody except the sender and the recipient know their content.

However, in order to use our services you need Internet connection. If you are planning to use data roaming abroad you need to first check with your provider whether you’ll be charged extra for internet traffic.
