IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT THAT WE ALL HAVE SOMETHING TO LOSE

Dear Secure Swiss Data Users,

As you already know our services are currently offline.

Firstly, we would like to stress that no data is compromised and your privacy and information has never been in question.

To explain what has happened at Secure Swiss Data we need to share with you our story.

To give you some background, when we decided to create Secure Swiss Data, and build the world’s first fully encrypted email, calendar and file sharing platform, we did a lot of homework and planning and decided to choose Switzerland as the location for our servers, because privacy and data protection laws there are the most robust in world. In addition, your data is out of the US and EU jurisdiction, which is very important for the protection of your information.

We then set about designing and building the architecture for our new platform and for this brought in an outside firm of development engineers who helped us to assess the different types of architecture we should use.

We together created and launched on the 31 May 2017 the Secure Swiss Data service but soon realized that we had potentially made a fundamental mistake in that we had allowed a third-party contractor access to our system. Whilst they never had access to your information we still did not want to take any chances.

Our ethos and responsibility to our users is paramount to what we have developed and we will never compromise quality, reliability or security and so it was at that stage that we decided to bring everything back in house and with our own team of engineers build a new and more sophisticated system that no third party would have a hand in developing and one that is the most secure in the world.

Over the last four months we have worked tirelessly and round the clock to build a new unique multi-level encrypted platform that will be the backbone of our service moving forward and will later this year even include blockchain protocol within it.

We are well on the way now to completing our new unique in house service and architecture that we will be starting to launch next month and will over the next six months be bringing out new features and services every month, but at the beginning of this year we had to make a decision of what we had to lose by having allowed an outside company to help us build our platform and decided that whilst they never had access to your data it was best that we shut down everything and relaunched using our own architecture.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience that you’ve experienced due to this but we are sure you will agree with us that we made the right decision because as our motto has always said, whilst we have nothing to hide, we all have something to lose.

You will be able to keep your email addresses that you created by contacting our customer support team [email protected] and again we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding in order to provide you with uncompromisable services that will protect your privacy online and will make the world more secure.

Sincerely yours,
Secure Swiss Data Team
